우선 만약을 대비해 리눅스 부팅 디스크를 만들어 두세요.
 제 기억으론 컴파일 마지막에 make install 하면 자동으로 아래 메뉴가 생겼습니다.

          kernel /vmlinuz-2.4.18-14custom ro root=LABEL=/
          initrd /initrd-2.4.18-14.img
없으면 추가해 주시고, 리부팅 하면 위의 메뉴가 추가 될 겁니다.
그걸 선택 후 잘 되면 필요없는 메뉴 지우면 됩니다.
 만약, 오류로 인해서 grub>만 나오면,
