리눅스 박스에 UPS를 붙이려고 합니다.
 제가 한 작업은 아래와 같습니다.
1. /etc/initab 파일 수정
# Run gettys in standard runlevels
1:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty tty1
2:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty tty2
3:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty tty3
4:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty tty4
5:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty tty5
6:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty tty6
 S:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty ttyS0  --- 추가
2. init q
[root@dsi oracle]# ps -ef|grep tty
root      1019     1  0 15:05 tty1     00:00:00 /sbin/mingetty tty1
root      1020     1  0 15:05 tty2     00:00:00 /sbin/mingetty tty2
root      1021     1  0 15:05 tty3     00:00:00 /sbin/mingetty tty3
root      1022     1  0 15:05 tty4     00:00:00 /sbin/mingetty tty4
root      1023     1  0 15:05 tty5     00:00:00 /sbin/mingetty tty5
root      1024     1  0 15:05 tty6     00:00:00 /sbin/mingetty tty6
root      2134     1  0 15:34 ttyS0    00:00:00 /sbin/mingetty ttyS0 -- 프로세스 살아남
 문제는  살아난 COM1포트(ttyS0)의 프로세서가 몇 초 안되 죽어 버립니다.
그래서 UPS 모니터링 프로그램에서도 작업이 되지 않고요...
당연히 UPS제어도 되지 않습니다.
