텔넷 ftp등 데몬을 돌리기 위해 다들 잘 쓰고 계시겠지만
구래도 꽤나 많은 써비스를 돌리는 xinetd를 소스로 설치함
좋은 점이 더 많더군요... 구래서 제가 설치한 것을 올립니다.
제 설정 파일은 제 홈에서 받으실수 있습니다.
 
http://www.xinetd.org/에서 xinetd-2.3.5 소스를 다운 받는다.
 압축을 해제한다.
tar xpzf xinetd-2.3.5.tar.gz -C /var/tmp
cd /var/tmp/xinetd-2.3.5/
 컴피그 옵션과 함께 컨피그 한다.
CFLAGS="-O2 -march=i686 -funroll-loops"; export CFLAGS
./configure
--prefix=/usr
--sysconfdir=/etc
--with-loadavg
--mandir=/usr/share/man
 컴파일
make
find /* > /root/xinetd1
앞에서 설명했지만 나중에 설치된 프로그램을
삭제시 한번에 깨끗이 지우기 위해
설치될 프로그램 리스트 작성을 위한것.
 컴파일된 파일들 설치
make install
 rm -f /usr/sbin/itox
rm -f /usr/sbin/xconv.pl
rm -f /usr/share/man/man8/itox.8
chmod 0510 /usr/sbin/xinetd
strip /usr/sbin/xinetd
rm -f /etc/hosts.allow
rm -f /etc/hosts.deny
 /etc/xinetd.conf파일을 작성
 defaults
{
instances      = 60
log_type        = SYSLOG authpriv
log_on_success  = HOST PID
log_on_failure  = HOST RECORD
per_source      = 5
}
includedir /etc/xinetd.d
 chmod 600 /etc/xinetd.conf
chown 0.0 /etc/xinetd.conf
mkdir /etc/xinetd.d 2> /dev/null
첨부파일에 포함된 init.d/xinetd 시작 스크립트를
/etc/rc.d/init.d/ 디렉토리에 복사한다.
 find /* > /root/xinetd2
diff /root/xinetd1 /root/xinetd2 > xinetd-install
설치된 프로그램 리스트 작성한다.
 chkconfig --level 345 xinetd on
/etc/rc.d/init.d/xinetd start 서비스 시작
 참고로 /etc/xinetd.d/폴더에 슈퍼 데몬으로
서비스할 서비스를 파일로 작성하면 된다.
텔넷일 경우
service telnet
{
        flags          = REUSE
        socket_type    = stream
        wait            = no
        user            = root
        server          = /usr/sbin/in.telnetd
        log_on_failure  += USERID
        disable        = no
}
위의 내용을 /etc/xinetd.d/telnet 이라는 파일로 작성하면 된다
