applications will run in a virtual machine only if the Colors
setting in the Display Properties control panel is set to 256 colors.
 Windows can emulate DirectX/DirectDraw support for a device
that does not support it (such as VMware's virtual SVGA adapter).
This is done in the hardware emulation layer within DirectDraw.
This emulation may be slow or unreliable.

be no hardware acceleration available to applications. Products
