 HP LaserJet 1000 을 리눅스에서 해보려고 이것저것 찾다가, 저런말을 만났습니다.
 It's a GDI printer. That means it has a too small rom so you've got to send the firmware to the printer every time you 
turn it on and print through a self made driver 'cause HP hasn't released one that suits yet.  그래서 좀더 찾아
보니, 무조건 그림으로만 출력하는 드라이버인것 같더군요. 약자를 찾지는 못했지만 Graphic
 only Driver Interface 정도?  편법으로 프린트 하긴 하는것 같던데요, 거기까진 도저히 모르겠
습니다.  Linux/Unix 에서 GDI Printer 사용하시는 분 계세요?
방법좀 가르쳐 주세요--.
