(http://www.linux.co.kr에도 같은 질문을 올렸습니다. 같은 질문 올려서
죄송하지만 이 문제를 해결하고 싶은 욕망에 두군데에 올립니다)
 ftp://ftp.promise.com/Controllers/IDE/FastTrak100/Linux/Linux62_70UniProcessor.zip (이것은 http://www.promise.com 에서 제공하는 ata100드라이버입니다.) 
저는 a7v보드를 쓰고 promise ata100을 씁니다. 
위는 promise에서 리눅스 드라이버를 나타냅니다. 
파일을 받으시면. 
.) Start the Redhat Install by booting with the installation 
diskettes or bootable CD ROM. 
2.) At the "Welcome to Red Hat Linux 6.2" installation screen, 
a prompted labeled "boot:" will appear at the bottom of the 
screen. At the prompt type "expert text" (without quoations) and 
then press the enter key. 
3.) At the "Devices" dialog box insert the diskette with the module 
in the floppy drive and then select "ok". 
4.) After reaching the "Devices" dialog box again, select "Add Device". 
5.) When asked "what kind of device would you like to add?", select 
"SCSI", and then select "ok". 
6.) Now press "P" key and scoll down to "Promise IDE RAID SCSI Driver",
 and then select "ok". 
7.) The installation process will now display the "Promise FastTrak 
IDE RAID SCSI Driver" as been found, select "done". 
8.) Continue with the installation as normal. When you reach the 
partitioning you will only be able to use "Disk Druid". 
이와같은 설명서가 나옵니다. 분명히 리눅스 설치 부팅때 
boot: 와 같이 나오면 expert text쓰고 엔터치면 devices를 선택해서 깔
 수 있다고 나와 있습니다. 그런데.. 안됩니다. 그저 보통때 설치될때처럼 
지나가다가 ata100에 연결되어있는 하드디스크를 인식하지 못하고 
계속 하드디드크를 검색합니다. 
분명 promise에서 드라이버를 공급하는건 맞는것같습니다. 
제가 설명서를 잘못파악했나요.. 아니면.. 모르겠습니다. 
그러니까 이렇게 질문드립니다. 
이곳 저곳 q&a 게시판 모두 가 보았습니다. 그런데 거의(?) 
ata100은 설치 불가능하니 ata66에 연결해서 쓰라고 하더군요. 
저는 하기 싫습니다. 왜냐면 분명 빠른 속도의 길이 있는데 
늦은 길을 왜 가냐는 겁니다. 분명 방법은 있습니다. 
드라이버도 있고.. 아.. 한가지 더 설치화면에 linux dd라고 
드라이버~~ 뭐뭐하며 있는것도 있는데 그것도 되지 않습니다. 
 ata100에 설치를 못해서 윈도우 쓸때는 이곳에 리눅스 쓸때는 
ata66에 케이블을 번갈아 끼우시는 사용자도 있는것으로 알고 있습니다. 
이 기회에 확실하게 알았으면 합니다.
