wow linux 6.2 up을 모두 설치했고, rpm으로 아파치, mysql, php 등을 삭제
했습니다.
root로 들어가서 설치하려고 하는데 작동이 다음과 같이 이상해서 도움을
 청합니다.
 shell> ./configure  설정 생략
           <- phpschool에서 가이드가 있어서 보고서 했습니다.
 Creating db table
     ...
        <- 압축풀고 맨 첨에 나타나고, 담 부터는 나타나지 않습니다.
 To start mysqld at boot time you have to copy support_files/mysql.server
to the right place for you system
 PLEASE REMEMBER TO SET A PASSWORD FOR THE MySQL root USER !
This is done with:
./bin/mysqladmin -u root password &#039;new-password&#039;

 NOTE: If you are upgrading from a MySQL <= 3.22.10 you should run
the ./bin/mysql_fix_privilege_tables. Otherwise you will not be
able to use the new GRANT command!

with the command:
./bin/mysqladmin version
shell> Starting mysqld daemon with databases from /usr/local/src/mysql/data
_  <- 프롬프트가 생기지 않고 여기서 커서가 대기를 합니다.
     위에서 아시겠지만 /usr/local/src에서 압축을 풀었습니다.
    책에서 보니 위의 메세지는 설치 하고 환경을 설정하는 
    ./mysql_install_db에서 나타나는 것이라 하던데...
        
위와같은 같은 이유로 몇주째 끙끙거리고 있다가 도움을 청하게 되었습니다.
부디, 도움을 주시기 부탁드립니다.
 아.. 밑에 검색해 보니 safe_mysql가 실행되면 않된다고 하던데...
ps해서 보니, safe_mysql과 mysql이 있네요..
