이번에 새로 서버에 mysql을 깔려니까 안되네요. 지금까지 한 세번깔아봤는데 좀 이상하군요.
3.22.32 소스를 받아서 풀고 ./configure --with-charset=euc_kr 하니깐 mysql 데몬이 떠 버리네요.
원래 이런거 아니지 않습니까? mysql소스는 여기서 받았구요,(mysql-3.22.32-pc-linux-gnu-i686.tar.gz) 래드햇 6.0입니다.
도와주시면 감사하겠습니다.
 [root@xxx mysql]# ./configure --with-charset=euc_kr
 
To start mysqld at boot time you have to copy support-files/mysql.server
to the right place for your system
 
PLEASE REMEMBER TO SET A PASSWORD FOR THE MySQL root USER !
This is done with:
./bin/mysqladmin -u root password &#039;new-password&#039;

NOTE:  If you are upgrading from a MySQL <= 3.22.10 you should run
the ./bin/mysql_fix_privilege_tables. Otherwise you will not be
able to use the new GRANT command!
 
Please report any problems with the ./bin/mysqlbug script!

Starting the mysqld server.  You can test that it is up and running
with the command:
./bin/mysqladmin version
