전 지금 방금 mysql 깔았습니다.
우선..기존의 것은 다 지워야겠지요?
shell# rpm -qa | grep mysql 
shell# rpm -e php-mysql-version
 root# tar xvfz mysql-3.22.32.tar.gz
root# cd mysql-version
mysql-version# ./configure --prefix=/user/local/mysql --with-charset=euc_kr
mysql-version# make
mysql-version# make install
  install이 끝났으면 catalogue DB를 생성해야갰지요?
mysql-version# cd /user/local/mysql/bin
bin# ./mysql_install_db  
 마지막으로 데몬 실행...
bin# ./safe_mysql&
bin# mysql
 이렇게 해도 안된다면..저두 잘 모르겠습니다.
답변을 충분히 잘 해주실 고수님을 기다리는 수 밖에..
 아..그리고..전 여기 오늘 첨 들어와봤는데..넘 좋네요.
자주 들어와봐야 할 듯...
 저두 리눅스 시작한지 얼마나 되지 않아 엄청 헤매고 있답니다.

: 3.22.32 소스를 받아서 풀고 ./configure --with-charset=euc_kr 하니깐 mysql 데몬이 떠 버리네요.
: 원래 이런거 아니지 않습니까? mysql소스는 여기서 받았구요,(mysql-3.22.32-pc-linux-gnu-i686.tar.gz) 래드햇 6.0입니다.
