alzza 6.2에 mysql 3.22.30을 설치하여 사용하고 있습니다. 데이타 특성상 테이블의 갯수가 많습니다. 테이블 갯수가 25000개 정도. mysql에서 한 테이블당 존재하는 화일이 3개(*.ISD,*.ISM,*.frm)이니까 한 디렉토리에 화일 수가 75000개 있는 거죠. 그런데 perl로 mysql 서버에 접속하여 작업할 때 문제가 발생합니다. - telnet connection이 끊기고, - mysql 데이타의 손상이 있기도 하고, - 심하면 서버 자체가 리부팅됩니다. 리부팅 될때 정상적인 shutdown 절차 를 따르지 않고, reset 버튼을 누른것과 같이 리부팅 됩니다. 당연히 부팅시 에 file system이 깨끗하게 unmount되지 않았다고 하면서 fsck가 실행되죠. 그래서 문제점을 발견하기 위하여 하드디스크와 마더 보드를 교환해 보았습 니다. 그리고 서버 자체를 바꿔보기도 하고(같은 회사의 같은 모델). 그런데 도 문제는 계속 발생하고. 서버의 파워 서플라이나 과열되서 그렇다면 매번 리부팅 될 텐데 그렇지 않 은걸 봐서는 하드웨어 자체의 결함 같지는 않습니다. 그레서 지금은 혐의를 두는 것은 - mysql 서버 자체 결함 - 리눅스에서의 화일 핸들 이중에 제가 묻고 싶은 것은 혹시 리눅스에서 처리할 수 있는 화일의 최대 갯수가 얼마나 되는 것이가 입니다. 특히 한 디렉토리 내에서의 최대 화일 갯수와 관련 지어서 다음은 문제가 발생했을 때의 /var/log/messages 에 기록되 로그입니다. 문제가 발생한 이후의 것입니다. 도움을 부탁드립니다. #################################################################### Aug 29 04:49:34 kse-base syslogd 1.3-3: restart.
