커널 2.2.13을 컴파일했다가 부팅시에 실패해는데요.
그래서 이번엔 2.3.29를 컴파일했거든요(pppox패치포함해서).
 1원짜리팁 란에 어느분이 참고하라고 해놓은 거 보고 따라 해봤는데..
그게 잘안되서..
 아래는 제가 pppoed -I eth0 을 실행했을때, /var/log/messages를 읽은 결과
인데요.

 계속 이런 말만 나오거든요..ㅠㅠ
 제가 한국통신 쓰는데 거기 딸려오는 시디에 enternet300 (pppoed)가 따로 
있는데, 거기꺼도 한 번 실행해봤지만 비슷한 결과가 나오네요.
 아래는 저의 /etc/ppp/options 파일의 내용입니다.

 resolv.conf, pap-~, chap-~ 다 설정한 상태에서 해본겁니다.
아시는 분있으시면 답변좀..
글구, /dev/pppox가 있는데도 자꾸없다는 말이 나오네요.
mknod까정 해봤는데..
