 해결했습니다. 완벽하게 해결한건지는 잘 모르겠지만...
sendmail원서를 사서 안되는 영어해석하며... 
 해결방법은 센드메일을 구동시킬때 옵션으로 queue도 주기적으로
돌려주었습니다.
/usr/lib/sendmail -bd -q1h
 센드메일 path에 -bd옵션으로 가동시키고 -q1h옵션으로 queue를 
1시간마다 돌려주도록 하니까 되었습니다. 
대충 이렇게 하니까 returnde mail이 때맞춰 오긴 했지만..
혹이 이게 틀린 방법이면 꼭 지적해주세요...
   : 메일 서버를 재부팅 하고 나니까 returned mail이 user마다 몇십개씩 왔습니다. 
: 4~6달 전에 보낸 메일에 대한 returned mail도 있었습니다.

: 19일 21시에 메일서버를 재부팅했고... 
: 19일 21시 후반에서 22시 초반에 서버가 죽었다가 
: 22시 초반 이후에는 살아있었습니다.
