9e2를 9 * 10 ^ 2 이라는 숫자로 인식을 해서 그런것이 아닐까요?
 e대신 다른 문자를 써서 하면 
mysql> create table 9a2 ( aa int );
Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.00 sec)
잘 되거든요.
