qpopper4.03을 받아서 설치하였습니다.
그리고 /etc/xinet.d 에다가 pop3파일을 아래와 같이 만들어 주었습니다.
 service pop3
{
        disable = no
        socket_type     = stream
        protocol        = tcp
        wait            = no
        user            = root
        server          = /usr/local/lib/popper
        server_args     = -s
        port            = 110
}
그리고 나서 xinetd restart를 해주었습니다. 그리고
 #telnet localhost 110 
 telnet: connect to address 127.0.0.1: Connection refused
 이렇게 나옵니다. 그리고 /var/log/messages 을 봤더니,

 이렇게 나옵니다. 대충 보면 /etc/protocol 파일에서 몬가 문제가 있는 듯 한데요..
잘 모르겠습니다. 아시는 분 계시면 알려주세요 ^^
