apm을 source로 깔려고 하는데요 mysql.com에 가니까 이런글이 있더군요 ______________________________________________________________  Compiler Advisory: Several of our users have reported random crashes and table corruption with MySQL binaries compiled with gcc 2.96 on the x86 Linux platform. Although we were unable to duplicate the problems ourselves or understand their exact cause, we suspect with a great degree of confidence that the problem was compiler related. Replacing the faulty binary with our binary always eliminated the problem.  We recommend that MySQL be compiled with gcc 2.95 if you have to compile your own binary at all. It is also acceptable to compile it with gcc 2.91 - builds with these compilers have been tested extensively. We would suggest, however, that you stay away from gcc 3.0 series until we have had some time to do some more extensive testing. ________________________________________________________   그래서 gcc를 2.95로 다운할려구 하는데요  rpm -qa | grep gcc하니까 ..  gcc-g77-2.96-99hl  gcc-c++-2.96-99hl  gcc-chill-2.96-99hl  gcc-objc-2.96-99hl  gcc-java-2.96-99hl  gcc-2.96-99hl  이렇게 나오네요 그러면 gcc-2.96-99hl 만 -nodeps 로 지우고 rpm 으로 gcc-2.95가져다 깔면 되나요? 실험을 막할 수 없는 시스템이라서 여쭤 봅니다. 그럼 많은 조언 부탁드립니다. 혹..2.96으로 깔고 잘쓰시는분 계시면 ......--리눅스로 모든걸 하자.
