: 레드헷7.2 를 설치하고요.. : mysql3.23.49를 설치하는중. : ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/mysql : --localstatedir=/usr/local/mysql/data : --with-charset=euc_kr : ... : make : ... : make install : 까지 했는데요.. : [root@koreain4 mysql]# ./bin/mysql_install_db : Sorry, the host 'koreain4' could not be looked up. : Please configure the 'hostname' command to return a correct hostname. : If you want to solve this at a later stage, restart this script with : the --force option : 이런 에러 메시지가 나와요. : 왜 이런지 모르겠네요.. : 몇번이나 지워보고 다시 깔았는데... : 이런 적은 처음이라서.. : 부탁드립니다...답변좀.. : 코리아팀 홧팅...^^* MySQL은 사용자 정보 디비인 mysql을 만들 때 root를 localhost와 hostname에 해당하는 호스트 이름으로 두개 생성합니다. /etc/hostname을 참조하시어 적절한 호스트네임을 기입하시고 (또는 hostname이라는 명령어 [eg.hostname DaeHanminkook.com] 를 입력하시면 바로 적용됩니다. ) 다시 ./bin/mysql_install_db 을 실행시키시면 문제없이 작동됩니다. 컴파일은 잘된거 같네요.. 성공하시길--반미구국
