cygwin 에서 한글이 안써져서 고심(?)하던중에... www.cygwin.com 의 FAQ 에 답이 있더군요... ~/.inputrc 하나 만드셔서 set meta-flag on set convert-meta off set output-meta on 이렇게 세줄 넣으시면 됩니다. 밑에는 그 메뉴얼 원문 입니다. 아.. 참고로 ls 에서 한글 보기는 alias ls= 'ls --show-control-chars' 이렇게 지정하시면 됩니다. -- Why don't international (8-bit) characters work?
