아래 내용은 레드헷 리눅스 7.1 배포판과 함께 설치된 MySQL 입니다.
그런데, MYSQL을 데몬을 띄울려고 아래의 명령 순서대로 작동하면 데몬이 작
동하다가 바로 종료 되어 버립니다.
무엇이 문제인지 모르겠습니다.

Installing all prepared tables
 To start mysqld at boot time you have to copy support-
files/mysql.server
to the right place for your system
 PLEASE REMEMBER TO SET A PASSWORD FOR THE MySQL root USER !
This is done with:
/usr/bin/mysqladmin -u root -p password &#039;new-password&#039;
/usr/bin/mysqladmin -u root -h www.lodem.net -p password &#039;new-password&#039;

 NOTE:  If you are upgrading from a MySQL <= 3.22.10 you should run
the /usr/bin/mysql_fix_privilege_tables. Otherwise you will not be
able to use the new GRANT command!
 You can start the MySQL daemon with:
cd /usr ; /usr/bin/safe_mysqld &
 You can test the MySQL daemon with the benchmarks in the &#039;sql-bench&#039; 
directory:
cd sql-bench ; run-all-tests
 Please report any problems with the /usr/bin/mysqlbug script!

 // 바로 위에 데몬이 뜨는것 같더니 바로 종료 되어 버리더군요.
// 어떻게 해야 되죠.
