mysql 설치시 make install 까지 성공하고 아래와 같이 패스워드 변경을 하려고 하면 에러가 납니다. [root@localhost mysql]# ./bin/mysqladmin -u root password '3079a > ' ./bin/mysqladmin: connect to server at 'localhost' failed error: 'Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (111)' Check that mysqld is running and that the socket: '/tmp/mysql.sock' exists! [root@localhost mysql]# 흠...어디서 잘 못 된거져? 분명 에러 메세지가 없었는뎅 그래서 혹시나 하고 mysql 데몬을 띄우면 [root@localhost mysql]# ./bin/safe_mysqld & [1] 31070 [root@localhost mysql]# Starting mysqld daemon with databases from /usr/local/mysql/var mysqld daemon ended [1]+  Done                  ./bin/safe_mysqld 이렇게 되네요...--; 데몬이 ended 되싸는 거 맞져? 흠... 꼭 컴파일 할 때 --with-charset=euc_kr 하면 이런 문제가 생깁니다. 혹시 아시는 분 갈쳐주세요....
