전 이번에 red hat 7.0 을 깔았거든요
 x-window를 configure 하는 도중에 문제가 생겨서 이렇게 글을 씁니다
 Xconfigurator를 하니
이게 제 graphic card 는 잡는거 같은데?
 PCI Entry: s3 Inc. :86c325 [Virge]
X Server: XF86_SVGA
X Free4driver: S3Virge (Not used by default)
 이렇게 뜨고요
 그다음에 다 설정하고
 monitor 는 custom 에서
1280x1024 60hz로 설정했습니다
 (컴퓨터 쌀때 온 종이를 보니까
monitor---> 17INCH .26DP 1280x1024 Color Monitor라고 쓰여있네요
)
그리고 마지막에 monitor랑 graphic card test 하는 것 있잖아요
 --Xconfigurator will now start X
to test your configuratio.--
에서 ok 를 누르고 나면 monitor화면 한번 번쩍하고 는
잘은 기억 안나지만
제가 configure 잘못했으니까 다시 설정하라고 하는데
그래서 monitor 설정을 이것저것 해봤거든요
 그런데도 잘안되네요.
ps.
그래서 그 test 하는곳에서 skip 누른다음
나와서
startx 하니까
 config error: /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/XF86Config:48
SubSection "extmod"
Module section keyword expected
X Connection to:0.0 broken(explict kill or server shutdown)
이라고 뜨네요.
 그리고 kde 를 치니까
cannot connect to x server라고 뜨네요
