 저도 예전에 php4를 컴파일 하는데 애를 먹은적이 있습니다.
항상 옵션을 줄때는 절대 경로를 써주는게 좋습니다.
그런데 보아하니 mysql이
`/usr/local/php-4.0.3/ext/mysql'
에 없는거 같군요...
일반적인 mysql옵션은 예전의 데이터와 같이 쓰기 위하여
--with-mysql=/usr
옵션을 줍니다.
 전 이렇게해서
ApacheJServ와 Php4, Mysql그리고 Oracle까지 같이 컴파일해서 씁니다.
