한국통신 adsl을 이용한 network설정에 애를 먹고 있는 사람입니다.
 먼저 저는 알짜 배포한 6.2를 사용중이구요.
 받은 시디 pppoe-1.300.000 디렉토리하에
option.pppoe, pppoed-2.0, pppoed-2.2, start-pppoe, stop-pppoe
다섯개의 화일이 있습니다.
 pppoed-2.2를 pppoed로 바꾸고, start-pppoe, stop-pppoe와 더불어,
/usr/local/bin에 복사했습니다.
 다음, start-pppoe를 수정합니다.
USERID에 myuserid를 대체합니다.

 그후에,
/etc/ppp/chap-secrets 와 pap-secrets 를 아래와 같이 바꿉니다.
물론 myuserid, donttell은 각각 한통 adsl 아이디와 비번입니다.

 그후, options.pppoe를 /etc/ppp 디렉토리에 넣었습니다.
 그후, 시스템 아디를 10.1.1.1로 바꾸로 기본 게이트웨이도 10.1.1.1로 바꿨습니다.
서브넷 마스크는 255.0.0.0
DHCP, bootp가 아닌 none으로 하고,
 다음은, ifconfig eth0 0.0.0.0 up -broadcast -arp
를 start-pppoe에 삽입해야 했으나
 $IFCONFIG $INTERFACE 0.0.0.0 -broadcast up -arp
와 같으므로 그대로 놔두었습니다.
  그리고, 메인 서버를  /etc/resolv.conf화일에,
         nameserver 168.126.63.1
        nameserver 168.126.63.2
 로 설정했습니다.
 현재는 ifconfig로 eth0, lo만 설정되었고,,
 /usr/local/bin/start-pppoe를 실행하니 에러가 났습니다.
뭘 찾지 못한다나 뭐라나,,
아무리 찾아도 디렉토리나 화일의 철자가 틀린건 없는데,,?
