적수님을 비롯한 고수님들께 자문을 부탁 드립니다.
 저는 캐나다 토론토에 살며, 저의 리눅스 여사는 굉장히 오래 되었지만
(아마 Slackware 2.? 으로 거슬로 올라 갑니다) 그때는 응용프로그램도
그리 많지 않았을 뿐더러 주위에 리눅스를 아는사람이 없어 문제에 봉착
했을때에 매번 좌절했습니다. 이번에는 꼭 성공을 하여 지겨운 "윈도우"
에서 자유로워지고 싶습니다.
 저를 Win2000과 Linux를 같이 쓰고 싶습니다.
그래서 망할놈의 Win2000을 먼저 설치를 하고 Linux를 설치 했습니다.
그리고 컴이 한대 더 있어서 지금 이용하고 있는 케이블 인터넷을 공유하고
싶습니다. 그래서 결론은 Win2000과 Linux가 설치된 컴퓨터에 Network Card
가 두개라는 이야기 입니다. 그런데 이 두개의 카드가 말썽 입니다.
Win2000에서는 문제없이 작동이 되고 충돌도 없는데 이 두놈이 Linux에서는
한놈도 안 잡히지 뭡니까. 인터넷에서 구할수 있는 모든자료를 찾아 다 해
보았지만 안되더군요. 그래서 이렇게 적수님을 비롯한 고수님들께 자문을
부탁 드립니다.
 우선 제 카드의 사양은 이렇습니다.
Macronix MX98715 Family Fast Ethernet Adapter (ACPI)
인터넷에 연결된 PCI 방식의 카드 입니다.
3Com EtherLink III ISA (3C509/3C509b) in Legacy mode
 그런데 이상한 점은 Win2000에서 확인을 해 본 결과 IRQ가 공유 되고 있다는
것 입니다. Sound Card와 Macronix Network Card가 같이 IRQ 9 번을 사이 좋게
쓰고 있었습니다. 그래서 수동으로 BIOS에서 Macronix Network Card의 IRQ를 5
번으로 조정을 했지만 여전히 안 잡히더군요.
