제가 며칠 동안 매트록스 g550 dvi와 lg1810b를 가지고 실험을 한 결과
 기본적인 방법들로는  x window가 안잡힌다는 결과를 알아냈습니다.
 저 개인적인 의견이 아니고 매트록스 사이트의 기술담당자가 한 말입니다.
 이것은 그 사람이 제가 문의했던 포럼에 올려놓은 글입니다.
 Thank you for posting your information, your config file is ok, as for the log file, it shows that the edid information
 is correctly being found so it should have been used by the driver to switch into digital mode. Normally if the edid is
n't found the driver can get confused and default to analog mode. In this it should work. As for using DigitalScreen opt
ion, it used to work in older version of the mga X driver but for some reason some of the code was removed in XFree86 4.
2.0 and 4.2.1 but i believe it will be put back in 4.3.0 There is a way around this for now, but it involves patching th
e driver source code and recompiling X and the driver from sources.  There is a howto on doing this in the FAQ section o

 소스에서 패치하고 리컴파일을 어떻게 하는지 정확히 모르겠다는 것입니다.  잘 아시는 
분이 있으시면은 가르쳐 주셨으면 합니다.  그래픽 카드 사기 전까지는 몰랐는데 매트록스
에서 dvi 지원을 잘 못 해 줍니다.  리눅스 생각하시고 비디오 카드 사시는 분들 고려하셨으
면 하네요  그리고 질문의 제목인 dvi지원되는 비디오 카드 중에서 x 윈도우 잘 잡히는 것
