제가 Linux 를 설치한 과정을 그대로 알려드릴께요 함 보세요.
 OS : WOW Linux 7.1 파란
설치하고 나서 Network 확인
	ifconfig -a  '확인했음
	ping xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx ' 확인했음
 DownLoad : webmail.kldp.org에서 Mysql-3.23.46.tar.gz 를 다운받음
/root/mnt 로 이동 후
 # tar xvfz mysql-3.23.46.tar.gz 압축풀고.... mysql-3.23.46 디렉
토리 생성됨
# mysql 디렉토리에서
	./configure --prefix=/usr/local/mysql --
localstatedir=/usr/local/mysql/data
	--with-charset=euc_kr
 # make
# make install
 .......... 여기까진 순조롭게 진행되는데...문제는 다음
압축이 풀린 디렉토리  그러니까 전체경로 /root/mnt/Mysql-3.23.46 에
서 scripts/mysql_install_db
명령을 주면 아래와 같이 나옴..
수차례해봤는데요.....새로 밀고 다시깔고 또 깔고...

Installing all perpared tables

Complete
 To start mysqld at boot time you have to copy support-
files/mysql.server
to the right place for your system
 PLEASE REMEMBER TO SET A PASSWORD FOR THE MySQL root USER !
This is done with:
/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysqladmin -u root -p password 'new-
password'
/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysqladmin -u root -h MyLinux -p
password 'new-password'
See the manual for more instructions.
 NOTE: If you are upgrading from a MySQL <= 3.22.10 you should
run
the /usr/local/mysql/bin/mysql_fix_privilege_tables.
Otherwise you will not be
able to use the new GRANT command!
 you con atart the MySQL daemon with:
cd /usr/local/mysql ; /usr/local/mysql/bin/safe_mysqld &
 you can test the MySQL daemon with the benchmarks in the 'sql-
bench' directory:
cd sql-bench ; run-all-tests
 Please report any problems with
the /usr/local/mysql/bin/mysqlbug script!

 Telnet 으로도 접속할 수가 없기때문에 내가 손수 다 타이핑했어요..헉헉
기존에 Mysql을 설치하는 방법
- tar xvfz mysql.tar.gz
- ./configure --prefix= 어쩌구..저쩌구..
- make
- make install
- scripts/mysql_install_db
그리고 설치된 디렉토리로 이동 /usr/local/mysql/bin 에가서
- ./safe_mysqld &
로 설치하고 지우고 다 해봤는데... 잘 되다가 갑자기 조기 위의 메세지가
뜨기 시작했거든요...
 고수님들 제발 도와주세요
